I need help getting my dog an invisible fence system. Which works best for a large size stubborn Dog?
My dog is a mix, chow and border collie, we live on a busy road and she is obsessed with the golf course across the road. We want to get an invisible fence system to keep her from running to the golf course. Which kind is better wireless or inground?
We take her to the local dog park which has a fence and she sails right over it like its nothing
Neither. Really fences work best especially if your dog has a high prey drive and/or thick skin. If your dog has really sensitive skin then they may work but if your dog is touch insensitive then the shock will not deter her from running to golf course. Also if your dog does get out an invisible fence could deter her from returning to your yard (not enough incentive to get shocked to get back in your yard). Real fences do not rely on a dogs prey drive and skin sensitivity.
